Institut du Bosphore organized a virtual roundtable entitled “Economy Beyond the Pandemic” on 16^th of September with the participation of members of Turkish & France Parliament/Senate Friendship Groups and Committees in charge of foreign and European affairs.

The meeting’s goal was to promote constructive dialogue and to dive into the current debates of their respective country with the goal of cultivating long-lasting relationships among engaged parliamentarians. Discussions during the meeting touched upon the pandemic’s effects on Turkey – France relations, and the role of the Parliaments in the increasing need of social progress and competition in many areas such as trade supply chains, green technologies, digital transformation, health policies and fundamental rights.
