Institut du Bosphore, TUSIAD and Berlin Bosphorus Initiative have jointly organized a  virtual roundtable meeting entitled « Call for Action for Turkey & Europe |Time to Be Wiser and Visionary » on Friday 30th of October.

The closed meeting welcomed Turkey’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs H.E. Faruk Kaymakcı and EU Delegation Head H.E. Nikolaus Meyer Landrut as well as TÜSİAD Global Relations and the EU Roundtable President and Board Member Can B. Yücaoğlu, Berlin Bosphorus Initiative President Hüseyin Gelis and Institut du Bosphore President Bahadır Kaleağası with the participation of around 30 academicians and politicians from Europe, Germany, France and Turkey.

The participants shared their views on a more positive EU-Turkey relationship which would eventually avoid the recent past’s mistakes, reinvigorate the successful experiences, and better serve common European values and citizens’ interests.
