Türkiye – France – EU: Economic Relationship as a Lever for Stability in a Multipolar World

On 19 November 2025 in Paris, the “Cercle de l’Institut” meeting brought together representatives from the business, political and diplomatic spheres and think tanks, for a debate entitled: “Türkiye – France – EU: Economic relations as a lever for stability in a multipolar world.”

The meeting opened with welcoming remarks by Arpat Şenocak, Partner (Istanbul) at Gide Loyrette Nouel, and Xavier Hürstel, Scientific Committee Co-president of the Institut du Bosphore, Executive Director for Economic and International Relations, Deputy CEO of ADP International, Groupe ADP.

The first session focused on global economic geopolitics, particularly the challenges and opportunities facing European companies and technology stakeholders in a rapidly evolving international environment.

This conversation featured Bruno Le Maire, former French Minister of the Economy, Finance and Industrial and Digital Sovereignty, and Bahadır Kaleağası, President of Institut du Bosphore.

The second session which addressed Europe’s global competitiveness, with exchanges on trade, investment, and the continent’s strategic positioning in a multipolar world brought together Bertrand Buchwalter, Advisor for Continental Europe – Türkiye to the President of the French Republic, France; Guillaume Klossa, President of EuropaNova, Conclave, Co-Chair of the Europa Power Initiative and CEO of T-Life and Livio Manzini, Vice-President of the Institut du Bosphore, CEO of Bell Holding. The debate was moderated by Anne-Sophie Bradelle, Director of Communications at the European Space Agency (ESA).
