01 Jul Webinar “Mental Health Resilience Towards the Post-Covid World Work Practices”
The pandemic health crisis, beside its global dimensions, has also significant implications in the emotional, psychological, and social well-being. In this context, the “Covid-19 Pandemic and Mental Health” report (also available in Turkish : Covid 19 Pandemisi ve Akıl Sağlığı Araştırma Raporu) deliver research findings on attitudes and behaviors of white collar workers and youth. This research carried out at the end of summer 2021 in Turkey as part of the partnership between AXA Sigorta and Galatasaray University with the cooperation of Institut du Bosphore aimed to enlighten the readers about the « new normal » after the COVID-19 pandemic and to understand its economic, psychological, and social effects of life after the pandemic. The study also aimed to provide a supportive framework for further research on social factors affecting mental health by providing an understanding of these important changes in daily life after the COVID-19 pandemic.
The AXA – Institut du Bosphore – Galatasaray University joint webinar entitled “Mental Health Resilience: Towards the Post-Covid World Work Practices” aimed to present the key findings of the report and tackle the role of governments and business in building mental health resilience. The debate took place on 7 July 2022 with the participation of Mr. Yavuz Ölken, President, TÜSİAD France Network & CEO, AXA Turkey, Assoc. Dr. Feyza Ak Akyol, Galatasaray University, Ms. Julie Chauvet, Senior Health Advisor, Business at OECD (BIAC) and Mr. Shunta Takino, Policy analyst, Directorate for Employment, Labour and Social Affairs, OECD. Discussions were moderated by Ms. Aslı Süel, Director of Human Resources, Eczacıbaşı Pharmaceuticals Marketing.
